The Raven’s Light Foundation

Official Update

[Burleson, TX]: The Raven’s Light Foundation today announced the beginning filings of 501(c)3 status and beginning of The Raven’s Light Foundation.

Over the past two months a dedicated team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to build The Raven's Light Foundation. That framework has now been established and appointed team members are working with legal counsel to file all of the required paperwork to become a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. Our top priority is ensuring that all details are done properly and legally.

When people donate money, they often want to know where those funds are being utilized. First, we want to acknowledge that as a fair question, deserving of an open and honest answer. Raven’s parents will work together with the medical billing team to ensure that all medical bills and related expenses are covered.  As an organization and community, we would like to turn our focus to The Raven’s Light Foundation.

The Raven’s Light Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization, started by Raven’s Daddy, Shane Goff to share the light that his Babygirl brought the world. The mission of The Raven’s Light Foundation is to facilitate and equip a movement that impacts change in lives around the world through acts of kindness and sharing the love of Jesus.

The Raven’s Light Foundation current efforts include, but are not limited to:

  • The Raven's Acts of Kindness cards
  • Facilitating Raven's Acts of Kindness on the 15th of every month (we would love to see a world-wide kindness day once a month)
  • Books and Bibles for Boys and Girls (getting books in the hands of kids everywhere)
  • School visits
  • Family events that encourage parental involvement (like Dodgeball with Dad)
  • School Staff appreciation and teacher wishes
  • Scholarships for kids to take dance lessons or gymnastics
  • Financial support for organizations like LifeGift

As always, we cannot express our gratitude enough for the encourage, support, and donations that have come in to support The Raven’s Light Foundation. More than anything, we covet the community’s prayers and appreciate their ongoing kindness.

Sincerely,

Shane Goff
